FIXED ROUTE BUS DRIVER

Based in Astoria, Oregon, SETD is seeking applications for enthusiastic individuals with great customer service skills to fill (8) full-time Fixed Route Bus Driver positions. Possession of a CDL B is preferred, however if this job is for you and you can deliver exceptional customer service skills SETD will provide paid training necessary to acquire a CDL B license.
Fixed Route Drivers are responsible for operating buses which require being in control of the bus and knowledge of all equipment used in a safe and efficient manner. The driver is responsible for providing safety and well-being to their passengers.
Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, two (2) years previous driving experience (preferred), operating transportation vehicles and experience working with elderly and/or disabled riders. CPR and First Aid Certification is provided by SETD.
Certifications preferred include Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) w/air brakes, passenger endorsement and a CDL Medical Certificate, Defensive Driving Certificate and PASS Certificate. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
- Wage range is $18.98 – $24.51 per hour depending on experience.
